Hi, we're Matt and Emily. We run Northbench from our home on Utah's Wasatch Front. It's just the two of us, a heat press and a lot of maps.
The name
For a long time, our garage had dumbbells, a weight bench and no table. So the bench became the table, until we finally picked up a folding one. "Built on the bench" started as a pun between the two of us, and it stuck.
How we make them
Every order is made to order. When you buy, we print it, press it and pack it ourselves. No middleman. Our topo maps are drawn from real USGS elevation data, so the lines on your desk are the real shape of the mountain.
What we make
Desk mats in 36 × 16 and 32 × 12 inches, mouse mats and coasters, with more on the way. Mats are 3mm neoprene with a non-slip rubber base and a stitched edge that won't fray.

30-day returns. If it's not right, send it back within 30 days of delivery.
Free replacements. Damaged or misprinted? We'll send a new one, no return needed.
